Diablo IV is set to launch on June 6, 2023 with early access starting on March 17. So if you plan on playing the game when it launches, you’ll want to run it well. As such, we’re looking at the best GPU for Diablo 4.
The game will follow the plot of Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls. Now the game’s antagonist, Lilith daughter of Mephisto, is summoned by cults. And with the powers of angels and demons depleted, she can find her sanctuary.
This series has been popular. It started in 1997 and has seen many releases in that time, either popular or not. But as a main series release, it should have a good chance.
Best GPU for Diablo 4
Currently, Blizzard has not released the system requirements for the game. But there are some other publications we can base the suggestions on. Diablo 2 Resurrected in particular came out on PC in 2021 and will therefore have a basic requirement we can expect.
It has a minimum requirement of an Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850. While for the recommended choices it increases to at least a GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. So we expect to see something similar to the new Diablo IV game.
Expect Diablo 4 to have similar requirements as it’s not the most graphically intense set of games as a third-person top-down RPG. But even then, there are plenty of graphical options to improve the visual quality of the game with the improvements in hardware these days compared to the first release.

Both the 1060 and 5500 XT have relatively little power compared to what is offered now. As such, even the RTX 3050 and RX 6600 are good graphics card choices. With a low entry point, they provide great value for performance.
They are focused on 1080p gaming and may therefore be a bit underpowered for anything else. Although it may be what you need and is a good entry point to the architecture and what it has to offer.
As such, it might be good to get something more powerful. RTX 3070 Ti and RX 6700 XT are also good choices to get good performance out of the game. Being able to push higher resolutions and qualities means you have a bit more flexibility to enjoy. As well as being able to enjoy a few more titles with good fidelity.
