It’s a new month, like means that new games will soon be available on PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass. Both services have some great titles on the horizon for March 2023, including massively multiplayer shooters and action RPGs on PlayStation, and a slew of first-day releases and exciting indies on Xbox.

Everything joins PlayStation Plus in March 2023 (so far)
PlayStation Plus’ March lineup is off to a strong start with a tour of new PS Plus Essentials, including the big competitive shooter Battlefield 2042the dungeon-crawling Minecraft spin-off Minecraft Dungeonsand anime flavor ppugly Action RPG Code Vein. All three games are free for PS Plus subscribers at all membership levels, and will remain in your collection for as long as you subscribe. You can add them to your library starting March 7th.
When you move up your subscription level, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can look forward to several new PS4 and PS5 games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catelog this month, such as the creepy first-person shooter Ghostwire Tokyoit Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection—which includes PS5 versions of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Lost Legacy—and two Ubisoft-published games: Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Rainbow Six Extraction. These titles will join the service on March 21st. It is likely that Sony will announce more Game Catalog additions later in the month on PlayStaction blog.

PlayStation Plus Premium
Everything leaving PlayStation Plus in March 2023 (so far)
So far, we know of several games leaving PlayStation Plus in March, starting last month’s PS Plus Essentials pick OlliOlli world, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Evil Dead: The Gameand Mafia: Definitive Edition. These games will be launched on March 6 to make way for March’s PS Plus Essentials which will join the following day. Be sure to add these to your library before they’re gone.
A week later, on March 13, several games leave the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, including WWE 2K22, The Disappearance of Ethan Carter, Ghost of a Tale, and more. Now is the time to play these games if you are interested. It is also possible that Sony may announce more departures during the month on the PlayStation blog.

Everything with Xbox Game Pass in March 2023 (so far)
The Xbox Game Pass lineup is a bit slimmer this month, at least in terms of announcements so far.
Starting with the Games With Gold freebies for Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscribers, you can get the point-and-click adventure game Trüberbrook and World War II RTS Sudden Strike 4: European Battlefields Edition starts March 1. Then, on March 16th, comes the indie survival horror game Lament will also join the GWG offers of the month. These games are free to download and stay in your library as long as you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold.
The Game Pass library, on the other hand, has several new titles lined up, including the first day of the highly anticipated action game Wo Long Fallen Dynastyand the atmospheric indie The road to the forest. Game Pass members will also get the fan-favorite Nordic survival game Valheim March 14, along with a host of sports titles from EA Play. As usual, more Game Pass games are likely to be announced later in the month the official Xbox Wire blog.

Everything Leaving Xbox Game Pass in March 2023 (So Far)
At the time of writing, Microsoft has yet to confirm any Game Pass departures for this month. We expect there to be at least a few removals, so keep an eye on the official Xbox blog for news. However, we do know at least one of February’s free games with gold, Guts ‘N Goalsis leaving on March 15th, so make sure you add it to your library if you want to continue playing it after it’s removed.
