After a recent release, Wild Hearts has had some technical issues with its performance. After a few crashes, fan reports of some terrible framerate issues were made, with some even funnier solutions.
As of February 16th, Omega Force – the developers – acknowledged the existence of said problemsand has announced that while they are working tirelessly to improve the game, an update will not be available until the week of February 20th.
Wild Hearts performance issues will be fixed soon
The repair has been announced to take place this week, but who knows how long into this week it may be. According to Omega Force, the update will improve PC performance, allowing Wild Hearts to run “comfortably”.

Since the issues have arisen, Omega Force has also said that they will begin implementing monthly patches and updates starting in March. Hopefully this means the team is able to stay on top of issues like this in the future.

How to fix Wild Hearts performance issues
While we wait for the official confirmation, you can follow these steps to reduce the impact of the performance issues.
- Install the latest graphics drivers from Nvidia, AMD or Intel
- Turn off ray tracing
- Disable GPU overclocking
- Reduce texture, shading and rendering quality

However, while these fixes are general fixes that can help prevent the game from crashing, the community has recently found a much more reliable solution for performance issues. This has actually resulted in the developers actually praising the players who found this solution.
It seems that changing the sound settings from Stereo to 7.1 / 5.1 is the solution to all the recent Wild Hearts problems. Weird actually.
